Fatal accident this morning, Russell Co., KY

Crash on McClendon Ridge RD at 1:20amCT takes life of 20 year old Jerry Passmore, Dunnville, KY

RUSSELL CO., KY - Trooper Adam Likins is investigating a fatal collision that occurred at 1:20amCT on Sunday, April 17, 2011.



Jerry D. Passmore, age 20 of Dunnville, KY, was operating a 1995 Dodge four door traveling east on McClendon Ridge RD approximately four miles east of Russell Springs, KY.

Passmore, who was not belted, ran off the left side of the road, traveled through a field and struck a parked van at a residence.

Passmore was pronounced dead at the scene by Russell County coroner Larry Skaggs. In addition to the coroner, Trooper Likins was assisted at the scene by Russell County EMS and the Russell County Sheriff's Office. The collision continues to be under investigation by Trooper Likins.
