GWS Lexicon: Spell, a time metric

Comments re article 43727 GWS Lexicon Deciding the age old mizruz issueDoug McCammish writes:
Is Billy Joe keeping a list? I sure hope so.

Old Tongue-in-cheek George suggests (by association) another word, maybe already in the list:
  • Spell - an undefined period of time as in set a spell.
s/Doug McCammish
My understanding is that Billy Joe Fudge is working in a frenzy compiling the words. He and the vast network of learned contributors and the factotums of CM are coordinating the effort to make this Great Wood South Lexicon the Best of Its Kind, worthy of Adair County's Tradition of Excellence. Anything less wouldn't be tolerated, here. -EW
