Ralph Poe, Taylor Co., KY (1924-2011) He was a native of Union Co., IN and a member of a highly regarded Taylor Co., KY family. He was owner and operator of the Von Schrader Cleaning Service for many years. He was a United States Army Air Force veteran of World War II and will be accorded full military honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard Ralph Poe, 87, of Campbellsville, Ky, died at 8:40 P.M., Wednesday, April 13, 2011 in Campbellsville. Funeral services will be at 11amET/10amCT, Monday, April 18, 2011, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. Larry Spears. Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3878 Greensburg RD, Campbellsville, KY, with full military honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard. Visitation is after 5pmET/4pmCT, Sunday, April 17, 2011 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Pallbearers: Zach Gollotte, Allen Holmes, Ricard Jeter, Ed Loy, Ryan Mings, and David Taylor. Ralph Poe, Taylor Co., KY (1924-2011) Ralph Poe was the son of the late Joseph Vernon Poe and Beulah Word Poe. He was born in Liberty, Union Co., IN, Thursday, March 27, 1924. He died at Wednesday, April 13, 2011 in Campbellsville, Taylor Co., KY, at the age of 87 years, and 17 days. He was a veteran of World War II having served his country honorably in the United States Army Air Force. He was owner and operator of Von Schrader Cleaning Service for many years. He united in marriage to Nita Spaulding Poe December 19, 1946. She preceded him in death April 17, 1991. He united in marriage to Lucille Wooley Brockman June 11, 1994.
