He was a member of a large, respected Casey Co., KY, family. He was a farmer, logger, WWII veteran, and a member of the Craftsman Masonic Lodge No. 722. He will be accorded military honors by the Casey County Funeral Squad

Clement Land, 85, died Monday March 21, 2011 at his daughter's home in Casey Co., KY.

Funeral services are 2pmET/1pmCT, Thursday, March 24, 2011, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville ST, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Cameron Cain officiating. Burial is in Whited Cemetery with military honors by the Casey County Funeral Squad .Visitation is Wednesday, 6pm-9pmET/5pm-8pmCT, with Masonic service at 7:30pmET/6:30pmCT.



Clement Land, Casey Co., KY (1925-2011)

Born September 18, 1925 in Casey County, he was the son of the late George Alford and Mollie Marples Land. He died Monday, March 21, 2011, in Casey Co., KY at the age of 85 years, 6 months, and 3 days.

He is also preceded in death by his wife, Jewell "Judy" Murphy Land, four brothers, Clayton, Claudie , Chester and Tommie Land and two sisters, Lena Land and Lola Riley.

He was a farmer, logger, WWII Army veteran and member of Craftsman Masonic Lodge No. 722.

Survivors include the following:
  • Daughter; Charlotte and (Donnie) Smither of Liberty, KY

  • Step son: Billy Goff of Liberty, KY

  • Two grandchildren

  • Four step-grandchildren

  • five great-grandchildren

  • A brother: George Land of Indiana.
McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville ST, Liberty, KY in charge of arrangements.
