Columbia Baptist Church thinks lower price was right thing to do Price concession because property will continue to benefit the community Doug McCammish writes: The members of Columbia Baptist Church felt that as long as the Columbia Christian Life property would continue to be available to the public as a city/county park and senior citizens center, the reduced price was the right thing to do. A commercial property price for the land would have been much higher and the official appraisal at the time of bypass construction was much higher.
