Little Cake School used to be in another place When Green River Lake was created, Little Cake School was moved William L. Hardwick writes: The place where the school is sitting now was not the original place. When they put the Dam in it had to be moved down the road by Uncle Lawrence's place. It used to sit beside the creek. My Dad went to school there. My Grandpa Oren Guinn Hardwick was living in it when they moved it. He had converted it into two rooms, When I was in the 5th grade we lived with them in it for a while. I went to a two room school house called Shepard. What memories. - William L.
