Doris Jean Gnagle Stout, Taylorsville, KY (1930-2011) Doris Jean Gnagie Stout, was the mother of Rob Stout, writer of Another Angle. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Taylorsville, KY where she was a volunteer and a former Sunday School teacher. Doris Jean Gnagie Stout, 81, passed away Monday, March 7, 2011 at her home in Taylorsville, KY. Funeral service for Mrs. Stout was conducted 2pmET, Thursday at Hall-Taylor Funeral Home, Taylorsville, with Brother Michael Waits officiating. Interment followed in Valley Cemetery, Washington RD ,Taylorsville, KY. Doris Jean Gnagie Stout, (1930-2011)Born in Taylorsville, Spencer Co., KY, Saturday, February 21, 1930, she was the daughter of the late John Albert and Ada Pauline Wallace Gnagie. She died Monday, March 7, 2011, in Taylorsville, Spencer Co., KY, at the age of 81 years and 12 days. A 1948 graduate of Taylorsville High School, she was a former telephone operator at the Taylorsville office of Southern Bell. She became a homemaker when she married her late husband, Roy Johnson Stout, and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. A member of First Baptist Church in Taylorsville, she served as a volunteer and formerly taught Sunday School there. She was also a member of the Newcomers Club in Decatur, AL.Mrs. Stout is survived by the following:
