Inquiring minds are curious and I have a daughter who would like to attend. -John McCaslandBarbara Armitage says that there won't be a fruit tree grafting class this year in Columbia. The nearest one will be in Somerset, KY. The class will be at the Pulaski County Extension Office, 28 Parkway DR, Somerset, KY, on March 22 at 1pmET/12 noon CT. The cost is $5 per person, and each person will get 3 apple tree rootstocks. The class is limited to 17 persons, and 11 have already registered. Register by calling (606) 679-6361. You may want to become a member of the Adair County Garden Club. Members received an announcement of the Somerset class in an email, she says, as well as information on becoming certified as a Master Gardener.
