Anyone know when South KY 61 construction will resume? A reader of CM has written to ask if anyone knows when the construction on KY 61 South, the Burkesville RD project, will resume? She writes, " It is currently a neglected dangerous stretch of pot-holes and ruts! When we have rain the ponding of water is treacherous! Not only is it dangerous, it is damaging to our vehicles. Please tell those of us who have to travel this road daily that the construction will begin again soon, and the new road completed in the near future!" My understanding at CM is that the project is to be completed this year, in 2011. If anyone has definite information, we'd appreciate receiving it. -Ed Waggener This story was posted on 2011-03-07 06:22:52
