The Going Bald to Fight Childhood Cancer St. Baldrick's Event is Saturday, March 26, 2011, at 11amET/10amCT, at Powell Athletic Center, 203 Tiger Way, Campbellsville, KY Comments re article 42853. St Baldricks: Cathy Luttrell has now raised $325 to fight childhood cancer Cathy Luttrell writes: Thank you for keeping the community updated on the total raised on my page at St. Baldricks.com, but I've got some great news for you. The total on the website is just for online donations. I have received many more donations in the form of checks which are made out to St. Baldrick's. I am mailing the checks in so they can be posted on the website. The community has definitely responded with a caring heart. My current balance as of this morning is $575 which means I met the $500 and am raising my goal to $1,000. As I said before, I really didn't know what to set my goal at and decided to go low, but as you can see I underestimated the people of Adair County! I believe I am the only person from Adair County participating in this event. So let's show everyone what our community can do when supporting a worthwhile cause! -Cathy LuttrellTo contribute, click to: Cathy Luttrell To see the list of donors thus far, including Anonymous, click to: Donor List.
