Thomas Clifton Finn, Adair Co. native (d. Feb. 25, 2011) He was a member of the prominent Finn family of Kemp, Adair Co., KY and the son of the late Simon and Gertie Finn. He was a University of Louisville basketball player, a U.S. Army veteran, and had retired after 39 years with DuPont in Louisville, KY. He will be buried in Green County just a short distance from his Kemp home at Summershade Cemetery. Thomas Clifton Finn, 83 of Elizabethtown, died Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at 1pmET/12 noon CT, at Brown Funeral Home, 306 College ST (MAP), Elizabethtown, KY, with Rev. Kent Litchfield officiating. Burial will follow in Summershade Cemetery in Summershade, Green Co., KY. He was a native of Kemp, Adair Co., KY and served in the U.S. Army. He retired from Dupont in Louisville after 39 years employment. He played basketball at U of L and was an avid UK and Boston Red Sox fan. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Jean Finn; his parents, Simon and Gertie Landis Finn; two sisters, Margie Golden and Jean Gordon and two brothers, Foster Finn and Isaac Austin Finn. He is survived by his wife, Alice Kirtley Langdon Finn, and the following:
