After year-long search, Family Finds good dog Reeses Reeses went missing November 2009. After great chocolate lab was reported missing and 15 months went by with no hope or the wrong dog being found; over one year later, in a drive home, a chance glance led to a happy reunion By Mike Bennett A little over a year ago, you ran a picture of our dog Reeses, who disappeared in November 2009. Saturday, February 26, 2011 we were driving home and spotted a dog in a field that looked like our missing dog. Much to my surprise when I stopped and called him, he came running to me. It was Reeses. Someone had put a collar on him and he had obviously been tied, so I don't know whether to thank someone for keeping him safe or to be mad at someone for dog napping him. Either way, our family is back together and Reeses has readjusted to home. Thanks, -Mike Bennett This story was posted on 2011-03-01 03:36:00
