Dorothy Jean Cox, 76, of Campbellsville, KY died Thursday, February 24, 2011, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Hospital, Danville, KY.

Funeral services is 11amET/10amCT, Monday February 28, 2011, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 5075 S Ky 551/Casey Creek RD (MAP), Clementsville, KY, by Rev. Joseph Hall. Burial is in St. Bernard Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday, February 27, 2011, from 6pm-9pmET/5pm-8pmCT, at the McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville ST, Liberty, KY, with Prayer at 7pmET/6pmCT.

Dorothy Jean Cox, Campbellsville, KY (1934-2011)

Born in Casey County on Thursday, June 21, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Edith Woodrum Wethington. She died Thursday, February 24, 2011, in Danville, Boyle Co., KY, at the age of 76 years, 8 months and 3 days.

She is the widow of Leslie Doyle Cox.

She was a homemaker and member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church.

Survivors include the following:
  • Five sons: Larry Dean and (Cindy) Cox, Terry Lee and ( Angie) Cox, Keith and (Libbi) Cox and Rodney and (Kim) Cox all of Elkhorn, KY and Joseph Doyle and (Carol) Cox of Campbellsville, KY

  • Twelve grandchildren

  • Six great-grandchildren

  • Three brothers: Ronnie Wethington of Missouri, James Russell Wethington of Clementsville, KY; and Joseph Bernard Wethington of Ohio

  • And two sisters: June Rodgers of Ohio and Barbara Clements of Liberty, KY
In addition to her parents and spouse, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Gay Wethington; two brothers, Bill and Danny Stewart Wethington and three sisters, Clementine Foster, Arlene Brown and Judy Newton.

McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville ST, Liberty, KY in charge of arrangements.
