The funeral services for Mr. Richard Forrest Edwards will be conducted at 1pmCT, Friday, February 18, 2011 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Greasy Creek Cemetery. Bro. Landon Hadley will be officiating. Visitation is requested from 4 until 8pmCT, Thursday, February 17, 2011, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Friday until time of the funeral service. Edwards and Cora Elizabeth Beard Edwards, was born on Friday, March 22, 1935 in Green Co., KY and departed this life on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 in Campbellsville, Taylor Co., KY. He was 75 years, 10 months and 24 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greasy Creek Baptist Church. He was a retired truck driver for Oakley, a veteran of the Korean War having served in the United States Army. He united in marriage to Evelyn Taylor who survives.
