Driver injured when vehicle rear-ends tractor trailer On Thursday, February 10, 2011 Columbia Police responded to an injury accident on KY 55 North near the Columbia Western Bypass (now Adair Veterans Memorial Highway). The accident occurred when a 2004 Chevy Van being operated by Johnnie Biggs of Columbia, KY struck a 1994 tractor trailer being operated by Skylor Turner in the rear. Biggs was transported by Adair County EMS to Westlake Regional Hospital. The accident was investigated by CPD officer Charles Greer.
