Charlie Dean Summers, 57 died Friday, February 11, 2011, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, KY.

Funeral services are at 2pmET/1pmCT, Tuesday February 15, 2011, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville ST, Liberty, KY, by Bro. Don Clark. Burial is in Fair Cemetery. Visitation is Monday, February 14, 2011, from 6-9pmET/5-8pmCT at the funeral home.



Charlie Dean Summers, Casey Co., KY (1954-2011)

Born February 9, 1954 in Casey County, KY, Charlie Dean Summers was the son of the late Herbert B. Summers and Hazel Rodgers Denson. He died Friday, February 11, 2011, in Danville, Boyle Co., KY, at the age of 57 years and 2 days.

He was a brick mason for Carmicle Masonry Construction and member of the Hilltop Full Gospel Tabernacle.

Survivors include the following:
  • Caregiver: Marilyn Cook of Liberty, KY

  • Two sons: Bobby and Josh Summers of Liberty, KY

  • A grandchild: McKenzie Summers

  • Four sisters: Ruthie Hatter, Ruby Downs, Linda Thompson and Pauline Robinson

  • Two brothers: Alvie and Henry Tucker
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters , Barbara Tucker and Mae Wheat and two brothers, Gary Dewayne Tucker and Donnie Tucker.

McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville ST, Liberty, KY in charge of arrangements.
