Henry Lee Ward was born July 1, 1936 in Jefferson County, KY., to the late Lloyd H. Ward and Lena Stearman Ward. He departed this life Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg having attained the age of 74years, 7 months and 8 days.

The funeral will be at 10amCT, Saturday, February 12, 2011, at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 Court ST, Greensburg, KY, with Rev. Danny Nelson and Rev. Otis Clell Skaggsthe officiating clergy. Burial will be in the Green County Memory Gardens. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Friday, February 11, 2011, at the funeral home.



Pallbearers: Brady Ward, Wade Ward, Logan Ward, Cody Ward, Ryan Williams, andGreg Williams.

Honorary pallbearers: Nathan Williams, Tyler Williams, J.T. Williams,David Williams, Archie Chase, and Billy Jones.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. He graduated from Green County; he was a farmer, and an airplane pilot and also a member of Summersville Masonic Lodge #704.

Henry Lee Ward is survived by his wife Joyce Ward of Green Co., KY, and the following:
  • Two sons: Mike Ward of Bradenton, FL, and Roger Ward of Henniker, New Hampshire

  • Five grandchildren: Brady, Wade, Logan, Cody and Dora along with several cousins and friends.
Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W. Court ST, Greensburg, KY, in charge of arrangements.
