Dorothy M. Hay, W. Hwy 92, Jamestown, KY, died Friday, February 4, 2011, at 11:45pmCT, at the Fairoaks Nursing Home, Jamestown, KY.

The funeral service for Dorothy M. Hay will be at 1pmCT, Tuesday, February 8, 2011, at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, , 202 N. Main ST, Jamestown, KY, with Pastor Patricia Hocksema officiating. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Monday, February 7, 2011, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Jamestown Cemetery, N. Main ST, Jamestown, KY.



Dorothy M. Hay, Russell Co., KY (1925-2011)

Dorothy M. Hay was the daughter of the late Lawrence Cundiff and Ella Mae Aaron Cundiff. She was born in Jamestown, Russell Co., KY, on Sunday, July 12, 1925 and died on Friday, February 4, 2011, in Jamestown, Russell Co., KY, at the age of 85 years, 6 months, and 23 days.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by the following:
  • Two sons: Kenneth (Judy) Hay, Jamestown, KY, and Dr. Herby (Natalie) Hay, Jr., Madison, IN

  • Two daughters: Glenda Hay, Jamestown, KY, and Carolyn (Gordon) Roberts, Louisville, KY

  • Seven grandchildren

  • Four great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Edwin, Dillard, and Willard Cundiff, and one sister, Susie Plumlee.
The H.E. Pruitt Funeral Home, 202 N. Main ST, Jamestown, KY, in charge of arrangements.
