Card of Thanks from the family of Greg Corbin

' . . . he will be forever missed. Heaven gained a very special angel the day he died'
Remembering Greg Corbin (1963-2011)

Submitted by Rita Neat

We the family of Greg Corbin would like to thank everyone for the many acts of kindness shown to us during the illness and death of Greg. To give him up is one of the hardest things we have ever had to do.We had so many wonderful people who helped us make it through these last few months.

A very special thank you to the doctors at Central Baptist Hospital and the Palative Care Unit in Lexington. To the nurses at James Graham Brown Cancer Center. A special thank you to all at Community Medical Services who were always there with anything we asked for.

To our "family" JJ, Cathy, Robert and Blake at Grissom Funeral Home, we love you and appreciate everything.

To Ida and Gerald Doss who always provided food. To everyone who sent flowers, cards, money, food and all the prayers that went up on our behalf, we appreciate it so much. We have had so many wonderful friends that it is hard to name everyone for fear of leaving someone out. Just know that being a friend to someone is the best gift you can give them.

Never underestimate the power of your actions, with one small gesture you can change a person's life. For better or for worse....God puts us all in each others lives to impact one another in some way and Greg sure did that in his everyday living.

If there is one thing we have learned from Greg's death it is never take anyone for granted. Tell them each and every day how much you love them and always be there for them.

We have so many wonderful memories of Greg and he will be forever missed. Heaven gained a very special angel the day he died. Remember this as you go thru your life, there is no beginning or end.

When you leave this life you go one of two places, Heaven or hell, I pray you make the right decision in your life and make Heaven your home as Greg did. We have that peace of knowing we will be together again one day.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift. May God bless you.

-Melissa, Buck, Tiffany, Kayla, Britany, Landon, Steve, Rita, Allan, Amber, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and all the family.
