Queen Elizibeth Furkins Janes went by name Queenie Billy Joe Fudgewrites: I had a great, great-aunt named Queen Elizibeth Furkins Janes. She went by Queenie which is the name on her tombstone. I, most of her younger kin, and most of the folks in the Harvey's Ridge Community called her Aunt Queen. Her brother, my Great, Grandfather was William Tyler Furkins. He was known as Uncle Bill by most of the community and I got in trouble more than once for calling him Uncle Bill rather than Pa Bill.Comments re article 41979.
