Tony Streeval: Snake Creek Road in Snowtime

Click on headline for introduction plus photo album

Stalwart Tony Streeval took note of the weather January 21, 2011. "It was slick," he said, "but the pictures must go on."

What he came up with were four great winter scenes, including nostalgic ones of the Old Bloomington School, and an editorial comment on the old pump still standing at the school. He wants it memorialized at the new campus of Bloomington Chapel.

There's another photo of landmark tree in the Robinson Cemetery on, Snake Creek Road, a marking place in travel on SCR, which stretches from Christine-upon-206 plum nelly to Absher, now popularly known as Egypt except to geography purists - all one of them: Michael Morris (Cathy's husband, Ivan and Gladys' boy, Jackie's cousin, Paul Hayes' brother in law, one of Ben Loy's very favorite uncles.)

Bloomington School Well Pump: "If the old pump could talk, it could tell some great stories," Tony Streeval writes, "The Bloomington Chapel church got its beginning at the old school and is now located down the road. If anyone knows who owns the land that the pump is located on please contact me. I would love to have it for a memorial to those who began there and put it in a special place on the new Bloomington Chapel property."
