Myrtle Lee Moon Cain, age 71, of Burkesville, KY, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, KY.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 11amCT, in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N. Main ST, Burkesville, KY (MAP), with Bro. Raymond Castillo and Bro. Tom Watson officiating. Visitation will be after 1pmCt on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 until funeral hour on Thursday.



Myrtle Lee Moon Cain, 71, Cumberland Co., KY (1939-2010)

Myrtle Lee Moon Cain was born in the Frogue Community of Cumberland Co. KY, on Tuesday, Tuesday March 7, 1939, the daughter of Willie Eulis Alexander and Sarah Ferguson Moon, and died Tuesday, December 28, 2010, at the age of 71 years, 9 months, and 21 days.

She was a babysitter and a member of Waterview Church of Christ,

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Everett Moon, and Ruel Moon. her sisters Madie Moon Graves and Lucy Mae Moon, her nieces, Anita Carol Moon and Jane Ellen Ferrell, Cousin, Ruby Ferguson Owens.

She is survived by the following:
  • Her son and daughter-in-law: Jeff and Susan Moon of Glasgow, KY

  • Her daughter and son-in-law: Crystal and Derric Williams of Burkesville, KY

  • Her grand children: Justin Allen Moon, Jarrod Ryan Moon, Jackson Lee Williams, Savannah Jade Moon and Alexander Grant Moon

  • Her step grandchildren: Casey Ryan Williams, Erica Renea Williams, and Anthony Tyler Combs

  • And her nieces and nephews: Phillip Moon, Carolyn Skipworth, James Ruel "Maynard" Moon Jr. and Harvey Graves.
