Obituary: Patrick Brown, 39, Cumberland Co., KY

He served in the United States Marine Corps and will be accorded military honors

Patrick Brown, 39, of Edgewater, FL, passed away suddenly Monday, November 29, 2010, in Florida.

The funeral service will be at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main ST, Burkesville, KY,, at 2pmCT, on Sunday, December 5, 2010, with Dr. Mark Shelton and Bro. Marty Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Burkesville Cemetery, Burkesville, KY. with military honors. Visitation: after 1pmCT, Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville.



Patrick Brown, Cumberland Co., KY (1971-2010)

Patrick Brown, was born in Russellville, KY on May 13, 1971, a son of Nora Mae (Keen) and Jerry Thomas Brown, of Burkesville, KY. He died Monday, November 29, 2010, in Florida, at the age of 39 years, 6 months, and 16 days.

He served in the United States Marine Corps.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Christopher Thomas Brown, and one niece, Christina Lee Brown and grandparents, Esco and Beulah Brown and Roy Baker and Marion Keen.

Survivors include the following:
  • His wife: Tammy Smith Brown of Edgewater, FL

  • His mother and father: Jerry Thomas and Nora Mae Brown of Burkesville, KY

  • Two sons: Jacob Patrick Brown, and Dylan Thomas Brown, both of Edgewater, FL

  • Two sisters: Susan Brown and her friend Darryl Miller, and Sarah Wheat, and her husband Stevie all of Burkesville, KY

  • Several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation to the Salvation Army or We Care and may be left at the funeral home.

Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. Burkesville, KY, in charge of arrangements.
