Cake, valued at $30, brings $80 in Radio Auction A cake donated by Marsha Walker to the Adair County Jaycees had a listed value of $30, but it brought almost three times that - $80. The cake was purchased jointly by Rep. Bam Carney and former Adair Co. Judge Richard Lee Walker. They're donating the yet to be baked cake to the Jaycees, to be included in some lucky Jaycees Christmas recipient's Christmas box. The boxes will be delivered December 18, 2010. If you would like to add to the total, you may do so at at Flowers 'n Things, 310 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, phone (270) 384-4214. -Amanda Long This story was posted on 2010-12-03 14:14:37
