Obituary: Rollin Judd, 82, Green Co., KY

He was a member of the Trammel Creek Baptist Church. He was retired and had formerly worked at the Green Co. ASCS Office, Anaconda, Tyson Bearing, as a security guard, and was a farmer.

Mr. Rollin Pleas Judd, 82, of Greensburg, KY, departed this life on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at his home.

The funeral services for Mr. Rollin Judd will be conducted at 1pmCT, Friday, December 3, 2010 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 South Main ST, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Macedonia Cemetery. Bro. Lee Warf will be officiating. Visitation is requested from 3:30 to 8pmCT, Thursday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Friday, until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers: Jason Tucker, Mike Sloan, Ricky Thompson, Ricky Atwell, Brian Ervin, Stevie Ervin, Josh Judd, Cameron Lane, and Marcus Wisdom.

Mr. Rollin Pleas Judd, Green Col, KY (1928-2010)
Mr. Rollin Pleas Judd of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Ruben Pleas Judd and Della Thompson Judd, was born on Sunday, June 3, 1928 in Green Co., Kentucky and departed this life on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at his home. He was 82 years, 5 months and 27 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Trammel Creek Baptist Church.

He was retired and had formerly worked at Green ASCS Office, Anaconda, Tyson Bearing, Security Guard and was a farmer.

He united in marriage to Altie Crumpton on March 11, 1949 who survives.

Other survivors include the following:
  • Two sons and daughters-in-law: Dale and Mitzi Judd of Horse Cave, KY; and David and Brenda Judd of Green Co., KY

  • Nine grandchildren

  • Thirteen great-grandchildren

  • and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Judd was also preceded in death by two children: Margaret Cavanaugh and Tommy Judd; one great-grandchild: Jarod Patterson; a sister and two brothers: Avis Davis, Orville Judd and Ausbon Judd.

Memorials are suggested to the Gideon Bible Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
