She was the matriarch of a large, respected Adair Co., KY, family. She leaves 81 direct living descendants. She was a native of Crocus, Adair Co., KY, the widow of John Miller, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Columbia, KY
Christine Miller, 89, of Columbia, KY, died Friday, November 26, 2010 at 2:28amCT at the Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green, KY.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 1:00pmCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Henry L. Mosley delivering the eulogy. Burial will be in the Holt Cemetery in Russell Co., KY. Visitation after 6 pmCT, Monday, November 29, 2010, at the funeral home.

Christine Burbridge Miller, 89, Adair Co., KY (1921-2010)

She was born Wednesday, November 16, 1921 in Crocus, Adair Co, KY. She was the daughter of the late John Henry and Ollie Duncan Burbridge. She died November 26, 2010, in Bowling Green, Warren Co., KY, at the age of 89 years and 5 days.She was the widow of John Miller and a member of First Baptist Church.Survivors include the following:
  • Three sons: Joe Miller, Barksdale Miller and James Miller all of Columbia, KY

  • Five daughters: Doris Miller, Lottie Alexander and Shirlene Ingram all of Columbia, KY; Georgia Hughes of Louisville, KY; and Norlene Smith of Richmond, KY

  • Twenty grandchildren

  • Thirty-eight great grandchildren

  • And 15 great great grandchildren

  • Along with a host of other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by two children, Roy and Martha Nell Miller.
