Three Area Players Have a Big Weekend for Lindsey Wilson College - Three area residents had big games for the Blue Raiders in last weekend's Lindsey Wilson College Classic, played at Biggers Sports Center. The LWC men's basketball team beat Cumberland University of Lebanon, TN, 60-57. on Friday night, then beat Trevecca Nazarene University of Nashville, TN, 70-46 on Saturday afternoon to improve their record to 3-1.



Sophomore forward Darren Ballou of Columbia recorded a double-double in the LWC Classic, scoring 11 points and grabbing 11 rebounds during the two games; sophomore guard Kalen Kimberland of Columbia scored 29 points over the two days; and freshman guard Chase Cox of Campbellsville, Ky., recorded 17 points and four assists in the two games.

LWC Men's basketball hosts Freed-Hardeman University of Henderson, TN, next at 7pmCT on Tuesday, November 23, 2010, at Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard DR, Columbia, KY.
