In honor of Chloe: Grateful mother asks help for another baby Chloe is now a bright eyed five year old with a beautiful smile. She had to fight to live, and her mother remembers all the help she received from family and friends. Now she has friends who are facing the same challenges, and asks for help for them and their little boy - in honor of Chloe. By Denise Richards On June 20, 2005 a very fragile adorable baby girl Chloe Alexandria Richards arrived. She was born premature at 32 weeks 3 days, weighing just 3 pounds 1 ounce. While our little miracle struggled to survive in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), she had so many obstacles to overcome. But she did. She is a little fighter. She spent the next four and a half weeks in the NICU. Our focus was on getting her better and home not realizing that we were not prepared for her to come home. But there was wonderful love and support of our family and friends. They made sure this little miracle had everything she needed when she came home. We were so blessed. Today if you know Chloe you know she is a little fighter. She fought to live and through everything she has endured, she has had the most amazing smile... Chloe - well she is Chloe. She has her own very unique personality but the one thing that stands out most is her happiness and her big blue eyes and smile. She glows inside and out. Today our daughter is a beautiful five year old little girl in kindergarten at Col Wm. Casey in Mrs. Dean's class. We were wanting to do something in her honor her 5th birthday but nothing stuck out, until now.. A friend of ours has given birth to a handsome baby boy, "Steve." He is now in the NICU in Louisville, KY. He only weighed 2 pounds 9 ounces. He wasn't due until December 30, 2010. His parents were very unprepared for his premature birth and they are in need of everything. They have so little. If you know my daughter Chloe and her glowing smile, let that smile touch your heart and help this wonderful family with any kind of baby item you would like to donate - new or used - it would be greatly appreciated. You can email me at pookie200576@yahoo.com or text or call me at (270) 805-1160.
