Obituary: Brenda J. West, 51, Russell Co., KY

She was a member of a large, respected family and was a homemaker

Brenda J. West, Lafavers RD, Russell Springs, KY died at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY, Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at 5:10pmCT.

The funeral service will be Saturday, November 20, 2010, at 1pmCT, at Bethel United Baptist Church, Dunnville, KY, with Bro. Jody Perkins officiating. Visitation will be Friday, November 19, after 4pmCT, at Bethel United Baptist Church. H.E. Pruitt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.



Brenda J. West, Russell Co., KY (1959-2010)

Brenda J. West was the daughter of Eugene Lafavers and Joyce Copley Lafavers, both of whom survive. She was born June 10, 1959, in Russell Springs, Russell Co., KY, and died Wednesday, November 17, 2010, in Russell Springs, Russell Co., KY at the age of 51 years, 5 months, and 7 days.

She was a homemaker.

Besides her parents, Eugene and Joyce Lafavers, Russell Springs, KY, she is survived by the following:
  • Two sons: Randy Hadley and Scott Hadley, both of Russell Springs, KY

  • A step son: Brian west, Shelbyville, IN

  • A step daughter: Melissa West, Russell Springs, KY

  • A brother: Roger Lafavers, Russell Springs, KY

  • Five sisters: Carolyn Hadley, Gina Keith, Diana Lafavers, Sonyia Silverman, and Betty Clark, all of Russell Springs, KY

  • Granddaughters: Caitlyn, Emma, and Cheyenne Hadley and Hailey Hammond
H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main ST, in charge of arrangements.
