The funeral services for Mrs. Eva Gilpin will be conducted at 1pmCT, Saturday, November 20, 2010 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Bro. Dan Perkins will be officiating. Visitation is requested from 4pm-9pmCT Friday, November 19, 2010, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Saturday until time of the funeral service. Pallbearers: Troy Wright, Mike Compton, Eddie Wright, Kenny Posey, and Virgil Taylor Wright. Honorary: Grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Eva Franklin Shirley Gilpin, Green Co., KY (1929-2010) Mrs. Eva Franklin Shirley Gilpin of Greensburg, KY, daughter of the late Clarence Cecil Wright and Flossie Mae Cantrell Wright, was born Monday, March 18, 1929 in Green Co., KY and departed this life on Monday, November 15, 2010 in Greensburg, Green Co., KY. She was 81 years, 7 months and 28 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg Separate Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She united in marriage to Goble Franklin in November of 1946 who preceded her in death on September 12, 1992. She then united in marriage to Rev. Robert Shirley who also preceded her in death. She later united in marriage to George Gilpin who survives. Other survivors include the following:
