EAT! What's Cooking is all posted now With Mulligan's at The Pines at Lindsey Wilson's buffet now posted, all of today's "What's Cooking Menu's are up. There are some great choices today, some new, some you know by heart as sure to be cooked on Wednesday as there are sure to be Prayer Meetings in the Churches of Adair County on this day. Check everything at What's Cooking in Adair County PS: The "EAT!" headline is from a nostalgic moment. Remember when roadside diners had a huge arrow with neon outlined letters with the imperative EAT pointing down to a cafe barely wider than the sign? The food was good, cheap, and wholesome in most of the places. The tackiness of the signs is now forgotten. We'd love to see a photo of one and perhaps post it, particularly if it is of one of the signs still working, on a still opened cafe. -EW This story was posted on 2010-11-17 10:21:47
