Obituary: Eleanor Jean Laytart, 70, Taylor Co., KY

She was the matriarch of a large, respected Elkhorn area family. She leaves 57 direct living descendants

Eleanor Jean Laytart, age 70, of Gaddis Ridge Road in Elkhorn, KY died Saturday, November 6, 2010 at her residence after an illness.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11amET/10amCT, Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home, 503 E. Main ST, Campbellsville, KY, with burial in the Lebanon National Cemetery, 20 KY 208, Lebanon, KY. Visitation will be from 5pm-8pmET/4pm-7pmCT, at the funeral home.


Eleanor Jean Laytart, Taylor Co., KY (1939-2010)

Eleanor Jean Laytart was born December 22, 1939and died in Elkhorn, Taylor Co., KY, on November 6, 2010, at the age of 70 years, 10 months, and 15 days.

She is survived by her husband, Albert Laytart of Elkhorn, KY, and the following:
  • Two sons, and daughter-in-law: Jonathan Dwight Laytart of Cynthiana, KY; Albert and Sharon Laytart of Campbellsville, KY

  • Five daughters and sons-in-law: Belinda Jo Richey, Christy and Steve Roach, and Rhonda and Bruce Miller all of Cynthiana, KY; and Mary Beth and Bert Huckaby and Robin and George Mendez both of Campbellsville, KY

  • Twenty one grandchildren

  • Twenty nine great grandchildren

  • Two brothers and sisters-in-law: Kelly and Opal Isaac of Richmond, KY; and Eddie and Bobbie Jo Isaac of Cynthiana, KY

  • Three sisters, Johnna Robey of Campbellsville, KY; Donna and Ray Bowman of Georgetown, KY; and Rhonda and Paul Rousey of Junction City, KY
Lyon-Dewitt Funeral Home, 503 E. Main ST, in charge of arrangements.
