Obituary: Mrs. Donna Sue VanGilder Wright, 61, Green Co., KY

She was a member of the Wesley Chapel-Ohio Falls Methodist Church in Clarksville, IN and attended the New Salem Baptist Church in Green Co. KY. She was an Insurance Claims Examiner, a life member of the V.F.W. Post 5813 Ladies Auxiliary and past President of the local Auxiliary and District 8.

Mrs. Donna Sue VanGilder Wright, 61, Green Co., KY, pased away early Saturday morning, October 23, 2010, at her home.

The funeral service for Mrs. Donna Sue VanGilder Wright will be conducted Tuesday, October 26, 2010, at 2pmCT, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY with burial to follow in the New Salem Cemetery. Bro. Jim Collison and Bro. Wilburn Bonta will be the officiating clergy.The family requests visitation from 3:30pm8pmCT on Monday, October 25, at the funeral home.


Pallbearers: Rodney Whitlow, Rodger Whitlow, Wendell Wright, Mark Bonta, James Bonta, Steve pickett, Wilburn Bonta, and Jim Myers.

Mrs. Donna Sue VanGilder Wright, Green Co., KY (1949-2010)

She was the daughter of the late Alva R. VanGilder and Helen I. Dierking VanGilder. She was born August 12, 1949 in Jeffersonville, Clark Co., Indiana and died on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at her home in Green Co., KY. She was 61 years, two months and 11 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ on April 29, 1962 and was a member of the Wesley Chapel-Ohio Falls Methodist Church in Clarksville, IN and attended the New Salem Baptist Church in Green Co. KY. She was an Insurance Claims Examiner, a life member of the V.F.W. Post 5813 Ladies Auxiliary and past President of the local Auxiliary and District 8.

She is survived by her husband, Paul J. Wright, of Green Co., KY, and the following:
  • A son: Paul Jackson Wright II, Jacksonville, FL

  • Two grandsons: Michael A. Martin and Paul Jackson Wright III, both of Florida

  • A brother and sister-in-law: Jerry L. and Jean VanGilder, Charlestown, IN

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society Breast Cancer Research or donation of Gideon Bibles. Both can be made at the funeral home.

The Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY, in charge of arrangements.
