E.H. Lepiarczyk postulates that Sano straddles border

About: 100 Years Ago A bonus a blessing from Sano by "Jim"

By E.H. Lepiarczyk II

It is my understanding that the Sano community straddles the border of Adair and Russell Counties. The community of Sano is in both counties!

The Free Union Separate Baptist Church is located in the proximity of Sano, Adair County.

My grandfather and grandmother, Daniel Marion Grider (1888-1949) and Effie Burton Grider (1896-1987), were united in marriage by the minister, Junius Otis Wolford (1883-1971) at Sano, Adair County.

I believe that Junius Otis Wolford was the minister at Free Union Separate Baptist Church. Junius' father, George Milton Wolford (1845-1929), is my grandfather's half-first cousin.

After their marrige, my grandfather and grandmother lived in the Concord community, near Garlin and Craycraft, of Adair County.
