Black Lions remember Dean Beard Click on headline for story plus photo(s) By Joe Hare A group of former Black Lions from the 28th Infantry during the Vietnam Conflict gathered last night, Tuesday, September 21, 2010 to honor their recently fallen comrade, Dean Beard. Those attending were Joe Karczynski, Chicago, IL; Dale and Jacki Carry, Ironton, MN; Don and Faye Price, Glasgow, KY. and Joe and Pat Hare, Columbia, KY. Joe Karczynski, Dale Carry, and Joe Hare all served with Dean in B Co. 2nd/28th Infantry in Vietnam in 1967. Don Price had worked with Dean in Glasgow and been a close friend for many years.
