Lindsey Wilson Womens Soccer beats Pikeville 4-0 NAIA No. 6 ranked Lindsey Wilson Women's Soccer was the winner over host Pikeville (KY) College, in a soccer match played Tuesday, September 21, 2010, at THE HAMBLEY SPORTS COMPLEX, 120 CHAMPIONSHIP DR, PIKEVILLE, KY. Junior Saki Katoaka scored two goals, Ida Gregerson and Elisha Fry each earned one goal. Lindsey Goalkeeper Jordan Morrison earned the shutout. The complete Pikeville vs. Lindsey Wilson College story by Chris Wells, Lindsey Wilson Sports Information Director and Mid-South Conference Sports Direct follows: By Chris Wells News from Lindsey Sports Information Pikeville, KY - Lindsey Wilson College junior Saki Kataoka scored a pair of goals to lead the No. 6-ranked Blue Raiders to a 4-0 win today over host Pikeville (KY) College. Lindsey Wilson improves to 5-3 overall and 2-0 in the Mid-South Conference with the win. Pikeville falls to 2-5-1 and 0-2 in the MSC. The Blue Raiders dominated play out-shooting the Bears 30-2 for the match. Pikeville goalkeeper Becky Davenport kept the game respectable stopping 13 Lindsey Wilson shots. Lindsey Wilson grabbed a 1-0 lead on Kataokas first goal as a Blue Raider. Junior Elisha Fry set up the Kataoka goal in the third minute of the game. Fry was on the scoring end in the 18th minute as she netted her team-leading fifth goal of the season to give the Blue Raiders a 2-0 lead. Junior Ida Gregersen assisted on the Fry goal - the first of two assists in the game for Gregersen. Following the half, Gregersen scored on an unassisted goal in the 59th minute and Kataoka scored in the 73rd minute to give the Blue Raiders the 4-0 win. Lindsey Wilson junior goalkeeper Jordan Morrison earned the shutout win collecting one save. Lindsey Wilson Women's Soccer hosts Lee (TN) at WALTER S.
