Obituary: Sheila Willis, 36, Cumberland Co., KY

Sheila Willis, age 36 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at the Cumberland County Hospital, Burkesville, KY.

The funeral service, will be Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 11amCT, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. Burkesville, KY with Bro. Raymond Castillo officiating. Burial will be in the Burkesville Cemetery. Visitation is after 1pm, Friday, September 17, 2010, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville.


Sheila Willis, 36, Burkesville, KY (1974-2010)

Sheila Willis was born on August 13, 1974 in Akron, Summit Co., OH, to Susie Backner Smith, and Bill Willis. She died Wednesday, September 15, 2010, in Burkesville, Cumberland Co., KY, at the age of 36 years, 1 months, and 2 days.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Shelley Willis.

She is survived by the following:
  • Her mother: Susie Backner Smith and her husband Stanley of Burkesville, KY

  • Her father: Bill Willis and his wife Rosetta of Albany, KY

  • One son: Myles Willis of Burkesville, KYOne daughter: Madelyn Paige Herald of Burkesville, KY

  • Half brother: Kevin Willis of Albany, KY

  • Two half sisters: Kara Willis of Albany, KY, and Kammy Willis of Akron, OH

  • Grandparents: Bill and Lois Backner of Ft. Myers, Florida

  • Nephew: Richard "Lane" Pitcock of Burkesville, KY

  • A host of other relatives and friends
Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main ST, Burkesville, KY, in charge of arrangements.
