Betty Shoopman, 80, of Edmonton, KY, passed away Monday, September 6, 2010, at Clinton County Hospital, Albany, Clinton Co., KY.

The funeral service will be at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main ST, Burkesville, KY, at 2pmCT on Thursday, September 9, 2010, with burial in the Guthrie's Chapel Cemetery. Friends are invited to call Wednesday, September 8, 2010, after 5pmCT, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville, KY.



Betty Shoopman, Edmonton, KY (1929-2010)

Betty Shoopman was born in Burkesville, Cumberland Co., KY on Monday, November 4, 1929. She was a daughter of the late Exie (Taylor) and Leslie Shoopman. She died in Albany, Clinton Co., KY, on Monday, September 6, 2010, at the age of 80 years, 10 months, and 2 days.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Guthrie's Chapel United Methodist Church and attended Casey Fork Cumberland Presbyterian.

Survivors Include the following:
  • One son Carl Shoopman and his wife Joyce of Edmonton, KY

  • Brother Lonnie Shoopman, husband of Helen Shoopman, of Indianapolis, IN

  • Two sisters: Bobby Spears, of Indianapolis, IN; and Jewell Embry, of Indianapolis, IN

  • Granddaughter Kristi, wife of Lannie Willen, of Burkesville, KY

  • Two great grandchildren: Lance Willen, of Burkesville, KY; Kenzie Willen, of Burkesville, KY
Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main ST, Burkesville, KY, in charge of arrangements.
