Durham youngest ever club golf champion at Pines By Eric Goodin It was a weekend for firsts all over the sports world this past weekend. Kyle Busch pulled off the first ever 3-peat in NASCAR by winning the Truck, Nationwide and Sprint cup victories. Arjan Atwal became the first ever India born winner on the PGA Tour and Alex Durham won his first ever Club Championship at The Pines at Lindsey Wilson. In so doing, Durham became the youngest ever Club Champion in the Club's history to my knowledge. Alex played well both days but had to endure a two hole playoff against Joe Smith to complete the victory. He is an outstanding young man and deserves the victory and congratulations! Way to go young man! This story was posted on 2010-08-23 16:49:01
