ACHS Boy's Golf Team captures 3rd
in prestigious Warren East Invitational

By Steve Burton

The ACHS Boy's Golf team came away with an impressive 3rd Place finish, in the Warren East Invitational at Shady Hollow Golf Course, 985 Ramsey RD, Cub Run, KY.

The tournament consisted of 20 teams from across the state of Kentucky. Tournament play was forced to be halted 12 holes into the tournament due to heat. The decision was made to go to the scorecards at that time. The result was the tribe walking away with a 3rd place finish.

We played well/ I only wish we could have had a chance to finish but it wasn't in Mother Nature's cards today. I am very proud of our young men because they have placed in the top 3 in every tournament we have entered this year. We will now get geared up to go into match play and look to improve our record one match at a time. -Steve Burton
