Obituary: Lois Ann McDonald, 83, Liberty, KY

Lois Ann McDonald, 83, Liberty, KY, passed away June 30, 2010, at her home in Casey County. She was born July 12, 1926, in Pulaski County, KY to Eubert Phelps and Maxie Adams Phelps. Lois Ann was a retired school teacher for the Casey County Board of Education, and a Member of the Athens Church of Christ.


She is survived by her husband, Roy C McDonald, of Liberty; 2 sons, Jerry McDonald of Winchester and Timothy and (Sheila) McDonald of Liberty; a daughter, Martha Sue McDonald of Nancy; and 2 grandchildren, Ashley Mae and Sarah Ann McDonald; 2 brothers, Ralph Phelps of Somerset and Jackie Phelps of Alabama; 3 sisters, Reva Callahan of Tennessee and Vickie Peters and Louise Sharpe of Somerset.

She was preceeded in death by her parents and 3 brothers, Arvine, Larry and Donnie Phelps.

Visitation is Friday, from 6-9 p.m. at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home on Saturday July 3, 2:00 p.m., with Bro. J. D. McDonald officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Hill Cemetery.
