Rev. Steven R. Pescosolido new senior pastor at Trinity UMC

News from Trinity United Methodist Church

Brother Steve Pescosolido was raised in southeastern Massachusetts and came to Kentucky in the early 1980's as a full-time Christian volunteer.

He fell in love with the southern culture and joined the Paint Lick United Methodist Church in 1985.

The next year he was married to a Kentucky girl by the name of Karen Louise West from Paint Lick in Garrard County.



Pescosolidos have three daughters

Bro. Steve and Karen have been married for almost twenty-four years and have three daughters. Their oldest daughter, Kristina, is twenty years old and will be entering her third year at the University of Kentucky. Their middle daughter, Julie, is eighteen and will begin Berea College as a freshman in August. Their youngest daughter, Rachel, will be a new student at the Adair County High School coming in as a junior.

Holds Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Seminary

Educationally, Bro. Steve earned his bachelor's degree in chemistry from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, and his Master of Divinity degree from the Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky. In 1992 Bro. Steve was ordained an Elder in the Kentucky Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.

Pastorate at Trinity begins June 27, 2010

This June Bro. Steve was appointed as the new Senior Pastor of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Columbia. He will begin serving at Trinity on Sunday, June 27, 2010.

Bro. Steve is looking forward to getting to know the folks at Trinity and the people of Adair County. Trinity United Methodist is located just north of Columbia on Campbellsville Rd.

Sunday worship services at Trinity United Methodist Church, 2418 Campbellsville Road, Columbia, KY. are at 8:30amCT (contemporary) and 10:30amCT (traditional). All are invited to come and meet the new pastor. Sunday Night, Youth 6:00pmCT. Wednesday Night Children & Youth of all ages at 5:00pmCT with a meal. Office hours are 8:00am-12:00pmCT, Tuesday-Friday. (270) 384-3259. Call if you need transportation. Everyone is welcome. The Trinity United Methodist Church's William Davenport Center is located next door, at 2252 Campbellsville Road, Columbia, KY.
