He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the South Campbellsville Baptist Church

David E. Wilson, 79, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 7:45pmET, Sunday, June 6, 2010 in Indiana.

Funeral services were at 11amET, Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, by Minister Joe Hatchett. Burial was in Brookside Cemetery, W. Main ST, Campbellsville, KY.



Pallbearers: Billy Murphy, Shawn Newton, Timmy Newton, Brian Theilmeier, David Wilson, and Tommy Wilson.

David E. Wilson, Campbellsville, KY (1931-2010)

David E. Wilson of Campbellsville, son of the late Bruce A. Wilson and Cynthia E. Polly Wilson, was born in Taylor Co., KY, Friday, April 5, 1931. He died at 7:45pmET, Sunday, June 6, 2010 in Indiana, at the age of 79 years, 2 months, and 3 days.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the South Campbellsville Baptist Church.

He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served his country honorably in the United States Army.

He was a retired construction worker.Survived by the following:
  • One daughter and one son: Ellen Murphy of New Albany, IN and Steve Wilson of Campbellsvillem KY
  • >
  • One granddaughter: Brittany Murphy of Louisville, KY

  • One brother: James Allen (Petie) Wilson of Campbellsville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Tommy H. Wilson and two foster siblings: Bobby Briscoe and Mattie Briscoe.

Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, in charge of arrangements.
