Obituary: Mrs. Pansy Pierce, 72, Green Co., KY

Mrs. Pansy Pierce, age 72, of Elizabethtown, KY, formerly of Greensburg, KY, passed away on Monday in Louisville at the Norton Suburban Hospital.

The funeral service for Mrs. Pansy Pierce will be conducted Thursday, June 10, 2010, at 2pmCT at the Union Chapel Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery. The family requests visitation from 3:30-8pm on Wednesday, June 9, 2010, and after 7 AM Thursday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg and after 1pmCT, Thursday, June 10, 2010, at the church.



Survivors include the following:
  • A son: Tony Pierce of Elizabethtown, KY

  • A grandson: Hunter Pierce of Elizabethtown, KY

  • Four sisters: Cozetta Snow of Elizabethtown, KY; Virginia Herald of Louisville, KY; Margaret DuVal of Hodgenville, KY and Mae Miller of North Carolina.

  • Two brothers: Lillard Pierce and Dillard Pierce both of Indiana

  • And a host of other relatives and friends.
The Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg ST, Greensburg, KY, in charge of arrangements.
