He was a farmer and a member of a large, respected Russell Co., KY, family

Chester Voils, Sr., 65, S. Ridge Circle, Russell Springs, KY, died Friday, June 4, 2010, at his home.

The funeral service will be Monday, June 7, 2010, at 10amCT, at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Cleveland Johnson the officiating clergy. Burial will be in the Voils Family Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Sunday, June 7, 2010, at the funeral home.



Chester Voils, Sr., 65, Russell Co., KY (1945-2010)

Chester Voils, Sr., was the son of the late Eva Della Smith Voils and Thomas Lee Voils. He was born Thursday, February 1, 1945 in Russell Co., KY, and died Friday, June 4, 2010, in Russell Springs, Russell Co., KY, at the age of 65 years, 4 months, and 3 days.

He was a farmer.He is survived by his wife, Judy Voils, Russell Springs, KY, and the following:
  • Two sons: Thomas Lee (Melissa) Voils and Chester Marion Voils, Jr, both of Russell Springs, KY

  • Two daughters: Eva Della Jessee, Russell Springs, KY; and Crystal Gayle (Bryan) Stilts, Greensburg, KY

  • Eleven grandchildre

  • Four great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters: Ernest, Marshall, Earl, James David Voils, Shirley Potts, Daphine Wright, Linda Sullivan and Patricia Voils.

Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, in charge of arrangements.
