He was a retired logger and truck driver. He attended Pine Grove Baptist Church

Dwight Herron, 81, Campbellsville, KY, died at 1:50pmET, Thursday, May 20, 2010 in Campbellsville, Taylor Co, KY.

Graveside services will be at 4pmET/3pmCT, Sunday, May 23, 2010, at Gumm Lick Cemetery in Casey County by Pastor Jeff Edwards. Visitation will be from 1-3pmET/Noon-2pmCT, Sunday, May 23, 2010, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY.



Pallbearers: Odell Callahan, Eugene Clements, Joe Fair, Guy Ritchie, Mark Ritchie, and Wayne Ritchie.

Dwight Herron (1928 - 2010)

Dwight Herron of Campbellsville, son of the late Earl B. Herron and Myrtie Woodrum Herron, was born in Taylor Co., KY, Thursday, September 13, 1928. He died at 1:50pmET, Thursday, May 20, 2010 in Campbellsville, Taylor Co, KY, at the age of 81 years, 8 months, and 7 days.

He professed faith in Christ and attended Pine Grove Baptist Church.

He was a retired logger and truck driver.

He united in marriage to Flora Mae Wethington Herron in 1952. She preceded him in death March 4, 2009.

He is survived by the following:
  • A sister: Imogene Lemons of Campbellsville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters: Guy Herron, Lawrence Herron, Beckam Herron, Winfrey Herron, Cassie Hamlett, Stella Hughes, Lottie Callahan and Ruth Herron.

Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
