No School in Adair Co. KY May 3, 2010 David Jones, called at 7:25pmCT, Sunday evening, May 2, 2010 to announce: No school in Adair Co., Monday, May 3, 2010! "We just can't take a chance on the safety of students tomorrow. We don't yet know the status of bridges," he said. Jones said that right now, some drivers and busses are stranded, and many of the roads are simply impassable. There is also a threat of flooding in Col. Wm Casey Elementary if the rain continues, he said. Flood water in back of the school was just a few inches away from flooding the school at times this afternoon, he said.
