Most major roads into Edmonton, KY closed But Edmonton City Lake dam seems to be holding at this time By Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15 Columbia, KY Edmonton, KY.) - Units from Post 15, KSP Commercial Vehicle Enforcement, local Metcalfe County and Edmonton City law enforcement and EMS and personnel from the KY National Guard have now closed most of the major KY state highways into Edmonton due to high water. KSP officials' are asking ALL motorists to avoid the area. Some residents have been evacuated from the area as there has been some concern about the Edmonton City Dam failing. However, it is currently holding well as water is beginning to recede. Here are a few suggestions for motorists traveling in wet weather:
