Obituary: Sharon Jean Cape Buhle Etheridge, 49

She was a member of a large, respected South Adair County family

Sharon Jean Cape Buhle Etheridge went home to be with Jesus on April 20, 201, after her long battle with cancer.

NOTE: Memorial service moved due to weather. The memorial service will be at Grissom Martin Funeral Home instead of graveside.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 2, 2010, at 3pmCT, at Grissom Martin Funeral Home instead of the previously announced Burchett Cemetery, 67 Burchett Cemetery RD, Columbia, KY, in the Cundiff Community of Adair Co., KY. Cremation was chosen. Grissom Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, is in charge of arrangements.



Sharon Jean Cape Buhle Etheridge, Adair Co., KY (1960-2010)

She was the daughter of the late Udes Cape and Wilda Jean Wheeler Cape. She was born Thursday, September 29, 1960, in Bradenton, Manatee Co., FL and died Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at the age of 49 years, 6 months, and 22 days.She left behind her husband, Richard Etheridge and the following:
  • Children: James Buhle, Clinton Buhle, and Matthew Buhle

  • Brothers: Ricky and Jimmy Cape

  • Sisters: Judy Cape Rowe and Debra Cape Chambers

  • Brother in law: Stephen Chambers

  • Her friend and caretaker: David Larner
She was preceded in death by her dad, Udes Cape; her mother, Wilda Jean Wheeler Cape; a sister, Gail Todd Cape; paternal grandparents, Clarence and Nora Blakey Cape; and maternal grandparents, Simon and Zelpha McClister Wheeler.

Sharon will be greatly missed by a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.
