Obituary: Thomas L. Baldwin, 72, Cumberland Co, KY

He was a member of a large, respected Cumberland Co., KY family. He was a native of Taylor Co., KY. He leaves 32 direct living descendants. He was retired truck driver and electrician.

Thomas L. Baldwin, age 72, Groce Street, Burkesville, KY passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.

The funeral service will be Monday, April 26, 2010 at 10amCT, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Burkesville, KY with Bro. Brad Lackey, Bro. Daniel Corrie Shull, and Bro. Phillip Leak officiating. Burial will be in the Branham Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6pmCT, Sunday, April 25, 2010, at the funeral home.


Thomas L. Baldwin, Burkesville, KY (1938-2010)

Thomas L. Baldwin was the son of the late Edgar Thomas and Kay Rena Corbin Baldwin. He was born on Monday, March 7, 1938 in Taylor County, KY, and died Saturday, April 24, in Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY, at the age of 72 years, one month, and 17 days.

He was a retired truck driver and electrician.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Snyder Baldwin.

Survivors include the following:
  • Three sons: Dewayne Baldwin, Louisville, KY; Paul Thomas Baldwin, Bon Ayre, GA; and Lonnie Ray Baldwin, Sr., Byron, GA

  • Five daughters: Jenny Burns, Burkesville, KY; Sharon Taylor, Connie Lackey, and Sandy Walters all of Campbellsville, KY; and Peggy Bowling of Somerset, KY

  • Two brothers: Lewis Baldwin, Louisville, KY and Randall Baldwin, Campbellsville, KY

  • Two sisters: Joyce Stearman, Lebanon, KY and Sue Milby, Campbellsville, KY

  • Seventeen grandchildren

  • Seven great grandchildren

  • Special pet: Sammy

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville, KY, in charge of arrangements.
